My Favorite Sister

I don't think I can ever have too many sister pictures...isn't she cute?!?

The Pru

Shortly after arriving in Boston, Ben told us that if you can see The Prudential Building (the tallest building across the river), you are not lost. This sage advice came in handy several times throughout the weekend as we navigated our way around and through the great city of Boston.

Charles River

The Charles River in Boston always seemed to be full of rowers no matter what time of day. The City of Boston has also built these great parks along the riverfront for the outdoor enthusiasts and for us tourists to get a fabulous view of the city. In the background is the famous Citgo sign that is seen during every Boston Red Sox broadcast from Fenway Park.

Tim & Kelly

Tim and Kelly flew all the way from Hawaii to run in the Boston Maraton. We met up with them after the race and was great to catch up with them and be reminded of the old office days. They also had fantastic races considering the flu they shared and the relatively cold temperatures that day.

MIT

Jan and I went to high school with a super smart guy named Ben. He is currently attending MIT and is going to graduate with a Ph.D. degree in physical science (?) any day now. Thank goodness Jan has kept in touch with him all this time. He gave us a fantastic tour of the MIT campus including the quad in front of this beautiful building. All our thanks to Ben for taking us to some awesome restaurants and giving us failproof directions to get around town!!

Boston Marathon

Posted by PicasaHad a great time at the Boston Maraton in April with THE BEST RUNNER IN THE WORLD!!! My sister ran a fantastic race and we had a fun time exploring Boston.

Ketchup

It's time to fill in the last few months of adventures. It may appear that I have been in some exotic location with no blogging access since January... :)

Really, days have gone by with the speed of light recently. Between having a stepson at home who is involved with tons of activities and being shorthanded at work, my extracurricular blogging activities have been on the back burner.

Ketchup is in order...
