Rush Hour

Ever feel like everyone else is wanting to go the same direction as you?? May not be able to see it so clearly in the is picture...but yesterday, crossing the Tacoma Narrows bridge just after 4pm was just asking for trouble. There was a steady line of brake lights in front of me (and behind me) while the oncoming traffic was puttering right along with luxurious gaps between the cars. And then, after crossing the bridge, as if somhow magically, the traffic clears right up and it is smooth sailing the rest of the way home. Happens everytime, without fail :)

Mountains

My acoustical adventure for Wednesday took me to the west side of the Cascades today. So beautiful but, boy, can it get windy!

Ahhhh, Friday....

Pau hana in just a few short hours. And that is just what I want to be...done working, for the week anyway. After all the long hours getting a big presentation together, everything went very smoothly. Yesterday was the big day and, as we finished, we looked out at a sea of smiling clients. What a relief!!! Now it is back to work on the projects that I set aside. But enough about work. Onto the weekend!

another long day...

Sometimes it seems like you just have to buckle down and get it done. Had another long day of working yesterday...lots of those lately. Came home to an empty house...well, not exactly empty. The boys are always there with their big smiles and floppy ears. I suppose I complain quite a bit...but really it is good to be busy. Keeps me from worrying about all the trivial stuff and the not so trivial stuff that is out of my hands. I did come away from the project site yesterday with some exciting ideas about molding and cabinets for our own home. Is that plagiarism when you "borrow" an idea from someone else's home? It is not copyrighted, right?

Day 1

Okay, let's see how this is going to work. I was asked to start this by a friend as an interactive perspective with his Blog. Sounds like a great concept...hopefully I will keep updating on a regular basis :)
