Mom's Weekend

Nothing like a good weekend with mom. She came up to visit, her first since we moved here from Hawaii about a year and a half ago. It was great...everything was so new to her. Further, she had not been to Seattle for probably 15 years so we explored a bit and had a wonderful time...bought tulips and earrings at Pike place market, window shopped the downtown malls, drove down to IKEA, and of course rode the ferries. At the house, she helped me plant all the seeds for this year's garden, played tons of card games, and even went bowling (she is really good...don't let her fool you).
